DRIVR - PRIVACY NOTICE FOR PASSENGERS
By creating a profile on or using any of the Drivr services, including, but not limited to Drivr app, features, websites or other services you accept the terms contained in this Privacy Policy, which govern the processing of your personal data. The term “us” or “we” refers to the owner of the Drivr app, Drivr (Company Registration Number 38942182, a private limited company, situated at Gammel Køge Landevej 119, 2. th. 2500 Valby, Denmark.

1.1 Information you provide
This may include:
User profile
We collect information when you create or update your Drivr account. This may include your first and last name, email, phone number, billing address, photo, payment or banking information (including related payment verification information). This also includes the preferences and settings that you enable for Drivr account.
Demographic data
We may collect demographic information about you through user surveys and questionnaires.
User content
We may collect information that you submit when you contact Drivr customer support, provide ratings or compliments for other users, or otherwise contact Drivr.

Location Information
Depending on the Drivr services that you use, and your app settings or device permissions, we may collect your precise or approximate location information as determined through your device’s GPS data.
Transaction Information
We collect transaction details related to your use of our services, including the type of services you requested, your order details, date and time the service was provided, amount charged, distance traveled, and payment method.
Usage information
We collect information about how you interact with our services. This includes information such as access dates and times, app features or pages viewed, app crashes and other system activity, type of browser, and third-party sites or service you were using before interacting with our services. In some cases, we collect this information through cookies and similar technologies that create and maintain unique identifiers (we use Google Analytics on drivr.com).
Device Information
We may collect information about the devices you use to access our services, including the hardware models, device IP address, operating systems and versions, software, file names and versions, preferred languages, unique device identifiers.
Communications Data
We enable users to communicate with each other and Drivr through the Drivr apps, websites, and other services. To provide this service, Drivr receives some information regarding the calls or texts, including the date and time of the call/text, and the content of the communications. Drivr may also use this information for customer support services (including to resolve disputes between users), for safety and security purposes, to improve our products and services and for analytics.

Purpose of the process
Drivr collects and uses information to enable reliable and convenient transportation other products and services.
We also use the information we collect to enhance the safety and security of our users and services, for customer support, for research and development, to enable communications to or between users, to provide promotions or contests, and in connection with legal proceedings.

2.1 Providing services and features
We collect and process personal data for the purpose of connecting passengers with drivers to help them move around cities more efficiently.
We collect data of the routes taken by drivers and passengers to track the progress of a ride, analyse the geographic coverage in order to provide recommendations to the drivers about most efficient routes.
We obtain payment details to process passengers’ payment on behalf of drivers for transportation services. We perform internal operations necessary to provide our services, including to troubleshoot software bugs and operational problems, to conduct data analysis, testing, and research, and to monitor and analyze usage and activity trends.
We enable features that allow you to share information with other people, such as when you submit a compliment about a driver, refer a friend to Drivr, split fares, or share your ETA.
We enable features to personalize your Drivr account, such as creating bookmarks for your favorite places, and to enable quick access to previous destinations.
Customer support data is collected on a case-by-case basis and stored for the purpose of resolving disputes and service quality issues.

2.2 Safety and security
We use your data to help maintain the safety, security and integrity of our services and users. Using device, location, profile, usage and other information to prevent, detect, and combat fraud or unsafe activities.
This includes processing of such information, in certain countries, to identify practices or patterns that indicate fraud or risk of safety incidents. Using user ratings to encourage improvement by affected users, and as grounds for deactivating users with ratings below a certain minimum as may be required in their region.
We use billing address will be used to reduce risk of fraudulent payment transactions.

2.3 Research and development
We may use the information we collect for testing, research, analysis and product development. This allows us to improve and enhance the safety and security of our services, develop new features and products, and facilitate insurance and finance solutions in connection with our services.

2.4 Communications among users
Drivr uses the information we collect to enable communications between our users. For example, a driver may text or call a passenger to confirm a pickup location.

2.5 Communications from Drivr
Drivr may use the information we collect to communicate with you about products, services, promotions, studies, surveys, news, updates and events.

2.6 Legal proceedings and requirements
We may use the information we collect to investigate or address claims or disputes relating to your use of Drivr’s services, or as otherwise allowed by applicable law, or as requested by regulators, government entities, and official inquiries.

Legal Basis
Personal data is processed in order to provide the service contracted with passengers.
We collect and processes the personal data submitted by the passengers in the course of installation and use of the Drivr app.
The prerequisite for the use of DRIVR services is passengers agreeing to the processing of identification and geolocation data.
Personal data may be also processed on legitimate interest grounds,for example in investigating and detecting fraudulent payments.

Recipients
The personal data of passenger is only disclosed to driver who has activated Drivr app; in such case, driver will see the name, phone number and geolocation data of the passenger.
Feedback given by passengers regarding the quality of the service is anonymous and drivers do not receive names and telephone numbers of the passenger who provided rating and feedback.
Depending on the location of the passenger, the personal data may be disclosed to the DRIVR group companies and partners (local subsidiaries, representatives, affiliates, agents etc).
Processing of personal data by DRIVR group companies and partners will occur under the same conditions as established in this privacy notice.

Security and access
Any personal data collected in the course of providing the services is transferred to and stored in the data centres of Alphabet Inc. (Google Cloud Platform), which are located in territories of Member States of the European Union and United States.
Only authorised employees of DRIVR group companies and partners have access to the personal data and they may access the data only for the purpose of resolving issues associated with the use of the services (including disputes regarding transportation services).
DRIVR group companies and partners can access personal data to the extent necessary to provide customer support in the respective country.
Geolocation data is processed in anonymised form and personalized only if the geographical location data is needed to be linked to a passenger for resolving disputes or fraud. For research and scientific purposes, the data is used in unidentified form (anonymized).

Access and correction
You can access and update your personal data via the Drivr app. If Drivr has information about you that you believe is inaccurate, you have the right to request correction of your information by sending an email to support@drivr.com.

Retention
Your personal data will be stored as long as you have an active passenger account. If your account is closed, personal data will be deleted (according to the policies set out in this section) from the databases, unless such data is required to be retained for accounting, dispute resolution or fraud prevention purposes.
Financial data regarding transportation services provided to passengers will be stored for 3 years after the last ride. Data required for accounting purposes will be stored for 7 years [after the last ride]. In the event that there are suspicions of a criminal offence, fraud or false information having been provided, the data will be stored for 10 years.
In case of payment disputes, data will be retained until the claim is satisfied or the expiry date of such claims.
Ride history data will be stored for 3 years, after which the data will be anonymized.
Please note that the de-installation of Drivr app in your device does not cause the deletion of your personal data.
If the Drivr app has not been used for 3 years, we will notify you and ask you to confirm whether account is still active. If no reply is received, the account will be closed and personal data will be deleted unless such data is required to be stored for accounting, dispute resolution or fraud prevention purposes.

Deletion
You should also bear in mind that any request to delete your personal data is possible only if we delete your account. As a result of that you will not be able to use Drivr app via an account which has been deleted.

Portability
We will respond to any request for transfer of personal data submitted by email within a month and specify when the data transfer will take place. After we have verified the customer in question, we will provide you with you personal data, which includes: contact information, last 3 years’ ride history and payment information.

Direct marketing
We will only use your e-mail address and/ or phone number to send direct marketing messages if you have given us permission to do so via the drivr.com website or via the Drivr app.
We may personalize direct marketing messages using the information how you use DRIVR services (frequency of use, rides, payments.
If you no longer wish to receive direct marketing messages, please click the “Unsubscribe” link in the footer of our e-mail.

Dispute resolution
Disputes relating to the processing of personal data are resolved through customer support (support@drivr.com).
